You’ve got places to go. Do you know about all of the available transportation options that can get you from your doorstep to where you need to be? Metro and regional partners hope to help you answer that question with the new interactive travel options map.
Enter an address to see a variety of nearby travel options that can help you save money, stay healthy and discover your community – all without your car. The map quickly connects you to close transit stops, bike routes, trails, schools, bike shops and park-and-ride and ride share opportunities.
“People move to our region because they like having travel options available to them,” reflected Councilor Shirley Craddick while recently approving the Active Transportation Plan. This new tool helps connect people – both long-time residents and recent transplants, alike – to those options in an easy-to-use map that’s available on desktop and mobile devices.
Resources on the map include information and links to TriMet routes, local trails and off-street bike paths, Bike There! routes and links to educational and advocacy partners related to the search area.
The map is created through regional partnerships between Metro, ODOT, local governments, TriMet and area transportation demand management organizations.
