Enroll online using ePortal Self-service
- Make sure your computer is connected to Metro’s network.
- Go to http://eportal.metro-region.org/
- Select PeopleSoft ePortal.
- Complete log in using your employee ID and ePortal password.

Premium rate information for 2025
The premium rate for benefits – what is paid each month for coverage – will increase in 2025. The amount of the increase varies based on the plan you are enrolled in. Employees pay 8% of premium rate costs, Metro pays the remaining 92%.
Medical, dental and vision plan summaries
Four medical plans are available to choose from: Kaiser Permanente and Regence Blue Cross. Two dental plans are available with Delta Dental or Kaiser, and Vision benefits are provided by VSP.

Metro offers several supplemental insurance life insurance, critical illness and hospital care coverage.
Flexible spending accounts
Flexible spending accounts allow you to have a portion of your salary set aside before taxes for eligible health, dependent care and parking expenses. Re-enrollment may be needed each year.
Opting out of medical and dental benefits
If you have proof of other group health coverage or are covered by certain employment contracts or collective bargaining agreements, you can choose to opt out of employer-paid medical and dental insurance by filling out and submitting the waiver below. Opt-out waivers are only accepted during the open enrollment period or after experiencing a qualifying life event, such as loss of employment or divorce. You do not need to fill out the waiver to opt out of vision benefits.
