Metro has established the Climate Partners' Forum, a group of agency and non-profit staff from around the Portland-Vancouver metropolitan area, to guide the development of a comprehensive climate action plan for the metropolitan area. Forum members help ensure that this plan reflects partners' prior climate work and supports partners’ plans to carry this work forward. This work is funded by a Climate Pollution Reduction Planning Grant from the Environmental Protection Agency.
The forum meets online on the third Tuesday of every other month through 2025, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Forum meetings are open to staff from public agencies, non-profit organizations, and community-based organizations from within the 7-county metropolitan area (which includes Clackamas, Clark, Columbia, Multnomah, Skamania, Washington, and Yamhill counties).
Registration is required. Contact [email protected] if you are interested in participating.
