Metro's community partnerships program works with community organizations big and small to build community and connect people of color with nature at Metro's parks and natural areas. Join us for this informational workshop to learn how to apply for a sponsorship with the community partnerships program.
Who are these sponsorships for?
The community partnerships program supports the work of organizations and groups led by and for Black, Indigenous and other people of color (BIPOC communities) in greater Portland.
How are sponsorship funds used?
Funds are for programs that facilitate connection to nature for BIPOC communities. Funds may cover staff time, professional and leadership development, materials and supplies, IT services and hardware, participant stipends, transportation, food and other costs related to connecting BIPOC communities with nature.
