Metro’s Waste Prevention and Environmental Services departnment is planning a garbage, reuse and recycling system facilities symposium this September 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Oregon Convention Center.
The event will include a panel discussion followed by an interactive workshop to review draft scenarios proposed for Metro’s Garbage and recycling system facilities plan.
This symposium will include elected officials, local government representatives, industry, reuse businesses, and community partners coming together to provide recommendations to Metro Council to help shape future system investments.
