Metro is hosting two virtual open houses to share information and gather input on potential investments in regional trails from the 2019 parks and nature bond measure. You’re invited! Metro staff will present draft results of a technical analysis that will be used prioritize which trail projects to invest in with limited resources. We want your input.
The bond measure provides funding to purchase land and easements from willing sellers to complete missing sections of the greater Portland area’s system of walking and biking trails. Hundreds of trail projects are eligible for the funding, but there is only enough funding to purchase a small fraction of what is needed, so Metro is relying on community input to prioritize its investments.
Come see draft maps of the prioritized trails, learn how previous community input has shaped the process, and share additional input before staff make a final recommendation to Metro Council in early 2022.
In you need interpretation, closed captioning, or any other accessibility services, please let us know when you RSVP or email [email protected].
