Join us as we tend to the historic Lone Fir Cemetery, one of Oregon’s most treasured historic places and Portland’s second-largest arboretum. Volunteer tasks include headstone cleaning, weeding, branch and litter pickup, as well as learning and getting to know the site. Refreshments, snacks, gloves and other materials provided. Please note, this activity may occur on uneven terrain and involves more physical activities such as bending, kneeling, stooping or working with tools for digging and planting.

Pet policy: To protect plants, wildlife and people, Metro does not allow pets at most regional parks and natural areas. Pets can damage sensitive habitat and threaten wildlife the region has worked to protect. In natural areas where dogs are not allowed, people see more wildlife and get closer to it. Seeing-eye dogs or other service animals are allowed. Please bring cleanup materials.
