Metro, in partnership with Unite Oregon, have formed a community advisory group to weigh in on a new Metro South recycling and transfer center. The advisory group is formed by 15 local community members who represent diverse view points and experiences.
The group will provide valuable feedback on whether or not a new facility is desired and if so, what services it should offer. Additionally, discussions will be had on ways to reduce impacts or nuisances to the community using design, technology, and looking at operation practices.

The general public will have a chance to weigh in during webinars, focus groups and a survey. These opportunities will be announced in future news updates and emails. If you are interested in requesting a presentation to a group, please reach out to the project team [email protected].
