Metro is required to document funded projects scheduled to use federal funds over the next four years. The current cycle is documented in the 2018-21 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program.
Metro is in receipt of the Proposed MTIP Formal Amendments:
The purpose of this bundled amendment is to make necessary funding corrections, increases, fund reprogramming, and add new projects to the 2018-21 MTIP. Projects and programs submitted for amendment in this bundle include: Transportation System Management and Operations Program (2018) and Strategy Planning Update (2020); Regional MPO Planning; I-205: I-5 to OR213 Phases 1 and 3; Region 1 Bridge Screening Project and Rail Retrofit; Community Job Connectors (2019, 2020 and 2021); TriMet Bus and Rail Preventative Maintenance (2019, 2020 and 2021); and SW Barbur Blvd.: SW Caruthers St. to SW Capitol Highway.
The public review period for this amendment bundle starts on Oct. 26, 2018 and concludes on Monday, Dec. 3, 2018 at 5 p.m.
