Wildlife photography provides an accessible opportunity for individuals to care more about the natural world and inspire conservation and stewardship. This outing will focus on wildlife photography basics such as species identifications, understanding wildlife behavior and habitat, ethics, and respect when photographing wildlife, staying patient and practicing mindfulness when waiting for your subject, tuning into our observation skills, and developing the skills to capture wildlife photos! By learning more about wildlife behaviors and ecology, people can better gauge and understand animal movements to time the photograph and capture the ideal picture. This course moves beyond classic wildlife viewing and dives into connecting and understanding the organisms to obtain knowledge and inspire curiosity, reflected in the photographs.
