Pickup: By appointment. Scheduling is booked 3-7 days in advance, although earlier pick up may be possible.
General Information

Works with social services to help set up clients in apartments. Needs donations of clean, usable furniture and household items.

All items must be clean, usable and not in need of repair. Furniture must be free of tears, stains, odors, or pet exposure (odor, hair, scratches). Items are accepted or rejected at the discretion of the driver or warehouse staff.

Take a photo of the item you'd like to donate and email [email protected] to see if they will accept it. Please check website for a current list of items that are and are not accepted. Most-needed items as of 2024: Mattresses and Box Springs, Sofas (up to 8 feet in length), Loveseats, Small Kitchen Tables, Coffee Tables, Small Desks, Pots & Pans.
Pickup

There must be room for a 20' box truck to park legally nearby. Items must be at street level or an elevator must be available. Cannot pick up items that require more than two people to move.

Basic household items such as: linens (sheets, blankets, towels), sleeping pillows, area rugs (no larger than 9' X 12'), framed mirrors, artwork, fans, space heaters, mops, brooms & vacuum cleaners, radios, alarm clocks, irons, and garbage cans.
Household furniture	✓	✓	✓	✓	✓	Dressers, night stands, kitchen tables and chairs, sofas, loveseats, coffee and end tables, shelves, small desks and lamps. No entertainment centers, hutches, kid furniture or sleeper sofas. No headboards/footboards, platform or bunk bed frames. Metal bed frames must be collapsible. Glass or marble top items accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Mattresses	✓	✓	✓	✓	✓	Accepts standard twin, double and queen mattresses. No latex, sleep number mattresses, mattress toppers, water beds, king size or crib mattresses. Call for information. May accept futons at the door if brought with a completely assembled frame and a clean mattress cover.
Microwave ovens	✓	✓	✓	✓	✓	Accepts working countertop microwaves in good, usable condition. Does not accept built-ins.
