Business: Monday-Saturday: 7 a.m.-7 p.m.; Sunday 7 a.m.-6 p.m.

Dropoff: Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Closes early July 4th, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, the day before Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
What to know

Permitted to accept most dry solid waste. Cannot accept liquids, food, food containers, human waste (including diapers), animal waste, dead animals, tires, hazardous waste, hazardous waste containers, paint cans (unless they are completely empty and dry), fluorescent tubes or bulbs, ballasts or bio-waste. Also no plaster or torch down roofing.

Appliances-large	✓	✓	Does not accept any coolant-containing appliances, even if the compressor has been removed. Washers, dryers, stoves, water heaters and dishwashers with stainless basins are accepted at no charge for recycling. Dishwashers with plastic basins are taken at the regular disposal rate for mixed waste.
Asphalt	✓	✓	Clean loads only. Check website for current fees.
Building and demolition materials	✓	✓	Materials that may be questionable for asbestos, such as sheet rock, felt paper, mastic, ceiling tiles, blow-in insulation, fire-proofing, etc. require lab tests showing that they contain no more than 1% asbestos. A copy of this paper work must be brought with the load. Without the test results, the load will be rejected. Loads of construction and demolition waste may require an abatement survey. Call for more information.
Carpet	✓	✓	All types of carpet are accepted at the garbage rate.
Carpet pad	✓	✓	All types of carpet pad are accepted at the garbage rate. Some types of carpet pad are recycled (Rebond and a newer pink polyurethane type). Call for details.
Christmas trees	✓	✓	Natural trees accepted year round for recycling for a small fee. Flocked tress are accepted only at the garbage rate.
Computer peripherals	✓	✓	Accepting printers, keyboards, mice and modems at no charge
Computers and monitors	✓	✓	Towers and laptops are accepted at no charge, call for fee to dispose of a monitor.
Concrete	✓	✓	Clean loads only (no sand or dirt). Accepts concrete with rebar, however call ahead regarding concrete with wire.
Creosote treated wood	✓	✓	Accepted at full length.
Dirt	✓	✓	Does not accept wet, soupy mud.
Engineered wood	✓	✓
Ferrous metals	✓	✓	Accepts automobile parts, but not complete vehicles. Chicken wire, hog wire and chain-link fencing are accepted for recycling at no charge if free of any contaminants such as weeds, privacy slats, etc. Barbed wire taken at the garbage rate, must be rolled up. No concertina/razor fence. Lawn mowers, riding lawn mowers, and rototillers are accepted at no charge with all fluids drained. Tires do not have to be removed. Cast iron wood-burning stoves are accepted for recycling as long as they are not asbestos-lined.
Mattresses	✓	✓	Mattresses and box springs are accepted for recycling. Disassembles and recycles everything except the fabric.
Nonferrous metal	✓	✓
Plastic drums and barrels	✓	✓	Must be clean, have never held hazardous waste and have an open end for inspection.
Plate glass	✓	✓	The glass is mixed in with their rock mix if brought separately and not in a mixed load.
Porcelain fixtures	✓	✓	The hardware must be removed, or they will be taken at the regular trash rate.
