Metro is in receipt of proposed Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Plan formal amendments. To share your views, comment by 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 2. A final notice will not be published.

Metro is required to document funded projects scheduled to use federal funds over the next four years. The current cycle is documented in the 2024-27 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program.

The purpose of this amendment is to make the necessary funding corrections, increases and fund reprogramming to the 2024-27 MTIP. This amendment adds a project award to meet federal delivery requirements:

New funding for a TriMet program to meet the needs of older adults and people with disabilities, specifically to procure and replace transportation vehicles needed to meet needs in locations where current service is unavailable or insufficient.
