As the days get cooler, waterfowl migrate throughout the Pacific Flyway. Birding provides accessible outings for individuals to care more about the natural world and inspire conservation and stewardship. This outing will focus on birding basics such as species identifications, using an identification guide, understanding bird behavior and habitat, ethics, and respect when birding, staying patient, practicing mindfulness, and tuning into our observation skills.
