Metro and local custom builder Hearth and Home Residential Construction Inc. have teamed up to launch a new limited edition color of MetroPaint recycled latex at the 2010 NW Natural Street of Dreams presented by John L. Scott. New color REFINEMENT, named after the Hearth and Home abode whose exterior features the warm taupe-brown hue, joins Metro’s award-winning line of environmentally friendly paint that keeps reusable resources out of landfills.
The Street of Dreams show runs through Aug. 29 at the new Cresap Summit development off Skyline Boulevard in northwest Portland, marking its 35th anniversary with seven homes that combine luxury and earth-friendly building practices. Produced by the Home Builders Association of Metropolitan Portland, this year’s event includes some homes with Earth Advantage or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design certification.
Miller Paint stores and the MetroPaint Swan Island store now offer the limited edition color at less than $11 per gallon.
