Join thousands of cyclists across the region to log your trips to work this month during the Bike Commute Challenge. The Bike Commute Challenge is a friendly competition between work sites to encourage people to bike to work. It’s easy, fun and free.
Anyone interested in taking the challenge should visit the website to see if their workplace is already registered or to register yourself and your workplace. Encourage coworkers to register and join your team. Then, log your bike trips during the month of September. At the end of the month, the Bicycle Transportation Alliance tallies the bike trips and ranks all workplaces in size categories by the percentage of commutes achieved by bike. Winners will be announced at a big party on Oct. 6, 2012.
Metro is proud to sponsor this effort that supports clean air and healthy communities with a Regional Travel Options grant.
