Metro is required to document funded projects scheduled to use federal funds over the next four years. The current cycle is documented in the 2018-21 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program.
Metro is in receipt of the Proposed MTIP Formal Amendments:
The purpose of this bundled amendment is to make necessary funding corrections, increases, fund reprogramming, and add new projects to the 2018-21 MTIP. Projects and programs submitted for amendment in this bundle include:
- ODOT Advanced Transportation and Congestion Management Technologies Deployment, including I‐205 Johnson Creek-Glen Jackson Phase II, I‐205 active traffic management, OR212/224 arterial corridor management, Northeast Airport Way arterial corridor management, TriMet next generation traffic signal priority, Cornelius Pass Road arterial corridor management, multimodal integrated corridor management architecture
- Combined projects related to: OR210 over OR217 from Southwest Scholls Ferry Road (OR210) to 72nd Avenue, OR217 Southbound from OR10 to OR99W
- Transit related projects, including: bus vehicle and facilities for rural SMART, TriMet bus replacement, TriMet low-no emission bus program.
The public review period for this amendment bundle starts on Aug. 30, 2019 and concludes on Monday, Sept. 30, 2019 at 5 p.m.
