How can we help?
Is there something you need in order to visit a Metro space or participate in an activity?
Request an accommodation
Metro strives to be an accessible and inclusive place for people of all abilities. Whether you are a staff member, volunteer or guest, you should feel welcome and included at the Metro Regional Center, Metro's visitor venues and parks.
The Americans with Disabilities Act
The Americans with Disabilities Act, signed in 1990, guarantees equal opportunities for people with disabilities in employment, public accommodations, transportation, telecommunications and in accessing state and local government services.
Metro's external activities primarily fall in Title II – Programs and Services Operated by State and Local Governments. Title II of the ADA requires that state and local governments give people with disabilities an equal opportunity to benefit from their programs, services and activities.
Metro fully complies with Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act that requires that no otherwise qualified individual with a disability be excluded from the participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination solely by reason of their disability under any program, service or activity.
If you believe you have been discriminated against regarding the receipt of benefits or services because of disability, you have the right to file a complaint with Metro.
