Six weeks after the Powell-Division Transit and Development Project steering committee decided to focus on a bus rapid transit project running along inner Powell and outer Division from downtown Portland to Gresham, project staff are working to figure out what that could mean for neighborhoods and getting around in this busy corridor.
Powell-Division would be the region's first bus rapid transit-type project. Many thousands of people travel through, attend classes, work and live along Powell-Division and in nearby neighborhoods. There's a lot to talk about.

Gresham Community Forum

Bring your ideas about how to encourage positive change near future transportation stops in Gresham to this community forum. What should change? What should stay the same? This forum will focus on three study areas:
- Division Street and 182nd Avenue
- Division Street and Eastman Parkway/Main Avenue
- Stark Street and Hogan Drive

Transportation Work Group Meetings

You be the expert: help the project partners understand more about what's working and not working in the transportation systems around Powell and Division. How do the roads, sidewalks and bikeways work for you? What could improve your experience?
Anyone can participate in the Powell-Division transportation work group meetings. On Thursday, Nov. 20, the work group will hold a morning session in Portland and an evening session in Gresham. The information presented will be the same at both. RSVPs are requested; click below either to RSVP.
