A new pass will let you enjoy a year's worth of visits and experiences at Metro's network of regional parks.
Debuting Oct. 1, a new hangtag-style annual parks pass is valid through the end of 2014. A Metro parks pass allows the entire family unlimited visits to Metro’s green spaces, playgrounds and parks.
Enjoy nature hiking trails, boating, fishing and swimming at Oxbow and Blue Lake regional parks, Broughton Beach, Chinook Landing Marine Park and M. James Gleason Memorial Boat Ramp.
If you don’t have a 2013 annual pass, buy a 2014 pass now and get the rest of this year for free. For $40 you can purchase a regular 12-month pass. Senior 12-month passes are $30 and people with disabilities pay only $10 with proper credentials.
"We've improved our annual parks pass due to overwhelming feedback from our customers," said Paul Slyman, director of Metro's Parks and Environmental Services Department. "We hope you take advantage of this versatile new pass, and we look forward to seeing you in our parks."
