Convened by TriMet and Metro in 2022, the 82nd Avenue Transit Project Steering Committee guided the project for more than two years and provided partner input and support.
On January 16, 2025, the Steering Committee recommended the locally preferred alternative (LPA) for the 82nd Avenue transit project, concluding their work. The locally preferred alternative defines the transit mode, the transit route (including turnaround locations) and the general station locations. Learn more about the LPA decision.
