Metro is required to document funded projects scheduled to use federal funds over the next four years. The current cycle is documented in the 2018-21 Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program.
Metro is in receipt of the Proposed MTIP Formal Amendments:
The purpose of this bundled amendment is to make necessary funding corrections, increases, fund reprogramming, and add new projects to the 2018-21 MTIP. Projects and programs submitted for amendment in this bundle include: I-5 N Denver Tunnel Illumination, OR217 interchanges, I-5 at I-205 Interchange, I-205 at OR43, I-5 Marquam Bridge Electrial/Lighting System Replacement, OR99E: Rockfall - Oregon City Tunnel to Old Canemah Park, US30BY: North Fiske Ave. to N Wilbur, US30BY at Fenwick, OR224: SE Pheasant Ct. - I-205, Connected Cully, Cully Neighborhood Bike & Pedestrian Connections, HSIP 2016 Bike/Ped Improvements, Red Electric Trail: SW Berth Blvd. - SW Capitol Hwy, Metro/SMART/TriMet Regional Travel Options programs and Beef Bend Road Culvert Replacement.
The public review period for this amendment bundle starts on May 30, 2018 and concludes on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 5 p.m.
