Get your wheels ready for the Bicycle Transportation Alliance's 2014 Bike Commute Challenge. Every September, employees at workplaces across the region go spoke to spoke against each other in the Bike Commute Challenge, sponsored by the Bicycle Transportation Alliance, Metro and Drive Less Save More.
The workplaces with the highest percentage of commutes by bicycle during the month of September win prizes and bragging rights.
For the first time the Bike Commute Challenge is now as mobile as you. The new mobile ready website enables you to log your trips easily on your mobile device's browser.
Whether you're an experienced rider or thinking about trying bike commuting for the first time, give the challenge a spin starting Sept. 1. It's easy, free and fun. Go online to sign up, find helpful resources and tips, and challenge your friends and coworkers.
Sign up to choose your participation options today and get free shipping on all the gear you need. Donate $10 or more and receive a free Project 529 Bike Registration kit.
Need more excuses to get excited? Gear up for the challenge with BTA at happy hours this month at a variety of locations in the region. Enjoy a beer, meet BTA staff, pick up some extra posters for the challenge, throw down the gauntlet to a rival and get your coworkers pumped.
